Requirements

Candidates must possess at least six years of experience as a Java Software Engineer and at least one year of experience as a Staff Engineer or equivalent level, demonstrating expertise in developing clean and maintainable Java code with an understanding of design patterns and application architecture. Strong knowledge of engineering processes, structural design, and system optimization is required, along with experience architecting cloud-native applications on AWS and familiarity with relational RDBMS such as SQL.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Product Managers and UX designers to define and improve features, develop new features with a focus on the end-user, write unit and integration tests, lead the definition of application architecture on AWS, deploy and monitor features in production, solve production problems, provide mentorship to junior engineers, contribute to team goals, and work with agile methodologies.
