Job Description

Employment Type: Full time

Remote: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The Role

Design and build the digital products that power our customers’ digital experiences. This includes mobile, web, applications, and services (both on-prem and in the cloud). Define architecture and drive it through implementation across cross-functional teams. Identify tooling and development and coding standards. Help guide technical strategy of the Digital Products Engineering organization.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement digital products – web, mobile, apps, services.
  • Define technical architecture for complex digital products.
  • Be technical DRI for key projects. Ensure those projects are sound technically, make strategic decisions based on technical requirements.
  • Clear communicating with product, program, design, and other engineering teams and partners.
  • Hire world-class engineers to up-level the overall engineering organization.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline
  • Extensive experience in software engineering and development, including programming languages, tools, and industry best practices
  • Strong background in cloud-native technologies and modern software architectures
  • Deep understanding of systems design and distributed systems
  • Proven technical leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and influence other engineers
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Java, Golang, Bash, or Linux
  • Expertise with modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations

  • MS or PhD in computer science

Compensation

Salary Range: $165,000 - $298,800 Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
