Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development, including at least 2 years in a technical lead role. They should possess 7+ years of experience developing applications/web services and cloud-native apps using technologies such as Java, React, Angular, Spring Boot, REST API, and JPA. Additionally, 5+ years of experience with agile development is required, with preferred experience in designing and developing highly scalable Microservices, Web services, and Rest API’s, in a Test-Driven Development environment, and with build/deployment tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Development Engineer will manage technical needs within the PBM space, overseeing the development, operations, and support for web-based tool development platforms. They will provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, evaluate emerging technologies, and design/implement complex software features. Responsibilities include solving complex technical problems, offering technical insights and recommendations, selecting and integrating technologies, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring junior engineers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and create scalable architectures is also a key part of the role.
