Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related role
Expertise in SQL querying, performance tuning, and database design principles
Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Athena, Clickhouse)
Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and data integration techniques
Proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient data solutions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strong proficiency in Python programming and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy)
Experience in building & maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements and ensure data integrity
Experience in implementing various data design patterns for Data Warehouses (Eg: Medallion architecture)
Experience in real-time data processing is a plus

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines with python and ETL processes using SQL and other relevant technologies
Optimize and streamline data workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability
Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks
Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable solutions
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on SQL best practices and data visualization techniques
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SQL & data engineering
