Requirements

Candidates must be proficient in file formats such as PE, ELF, Mach-O, MS Office, Zip, and Packers. They should have reverse engineering experience with C, C++, or Python, and possess 12+ years of experience working with Rust/C/C++ with familiarity with Python. A strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms, knowledge of appropriate algorithms for complex technical problems, and working knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Jira are required. Familiarity with different levels of software testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems is also necessary. Bonus points are awarded for familiarity with Fuzzing techniques, software vulnerabilities, secure programming, and cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will develop file format parsing and feature extraction engines, engineer new machine learning features in collaboration with data scientists, and design, implement, test, optimize, and maintain features for internal/external customers in the form of robust libraries and software development kits. Responsibilities also include documenting the design of complex software systems, conducting thorough software reviews, and exposing simple APIs to bundle a variety of robust services. The role involves developing, unit testing, integration testing, feature development, significant reverse engineering, and malware analysis.
