Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Windows kernel development. Strong understanding of Windows internals, kernel-mode programming, and driver development is essential, along with experience with sensor technologies and security analysis.
The Senior Windows Kernel Sensor Engineer will be responsible for researching and developing sensor capabilities to provide visibility and detection support for attack techniques across supported Windows OS versions. This includes implementing detection logic within the Falcon sensor, both user-mode and kernel-mode components, observing system activity, recognizing malicious behavior, and providing on-box prevention and remediation capabilities. They will also collaborate with the team to build innovative capabilities to detect suspicious or malicious behavior on customer endpoint devices, leveraging a hybrid approach combining local and cloud environments.
