The role requires 5-10 years of sales engineering experience, preferably within the assigned territory. Candidates must have experience working with clients and technology partners, and a demonstrated background in selling and implementing enterprise hardware/software, cloud platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or virtual infrastructure software. Strong presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is also required.
The Senior Sales Engineer will drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, articulating Cohesity's technology to various stakeholders. Responsibilities include enabling customer integration of Cohesity products, developing secondary storage technology strategies for key accounts, and delivering product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals. The role also involves identifying customer needs, crafting proofs of concept, collaborating with product management to provide field insights, and offering project management and post-sales technical support.
