Requirements

  • Strong understanding of C and C++ language
  • 7+ years experience working on QCOM and/or MTK SoC
  • Understanding of Linux Kernel and device drivers
  • Understanding of Android HAL architecture and development for new HAL modules
  • Understanding of Linux USB Gadget and following USB class specifications, UVC, UAC and HID
  • Familiar with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI and UART
  • Familiar with Oscilloscope and Logic Analyzers for verification of communication protocols
  • Strong architecture skills with an emphasis on API design and code reusability
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Can-do attitude and desire to solve problems
  • Good knowledge of revision control and code review tools like git and gerrit
  • B.S., M.S. or in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Design, Implement, Debug and Test the Firmware for Android and Linux based platforms. For new as well as existing products
  • Implementation of new and unique features that will differentiate the product
  • Ensure the product software has the highest quality, performance and security
