Requirements

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple HVAC/R projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to track multiple sites and schedules
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to provide clear direction to vendors and contractors
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with HVAC/R vendors, engineers, contractors, and internal teams

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage HVAC/R Special Projects, including refrigeration replacements, proactive HVAC unit replacements, and large-scale reactive work
  • Partner with Manager, Special Project Manager(s), and/or Director to resolve project challenges related to equipment, scheduling, or vendor performance
  • Communicate HVAC/R material and vendor issues promptly to leadership for resolution
  • Work with Special Project Managers to order, track, and communicate HVAC/R equipment requirements with vendors through SLM and Ariba
  • Maintain and file contractor lien waivers in compliance with company standards
  • Coordinate installation schedules with stores, partnering with Operations and vendors to minimize sales impact
  • Run and analyze reports for project tracking, HVAC/R equipment performance, vendor scorecards, and budgeting
  • Review and approve HVAC/R vendor invoices, ensuring alignment with approved quotes, contracts, and warranties
  • Support vendor management through consistent follow-up, performance tracking, and issue escalation
