Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must have at least five years of experience in mobile application development, with a minimum of two years in a leadership or managerial role, and expertise in .NET MAUI and cross-platform mobile development (iOS and Android). A proven track record of managing successful mobile app releases in a production environment is required, along with strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices, including backlog grooming, velocity tracking, and iterative delivery.
Responsibilities
The Software Manager will lead and mentor a cross-functional team of mobile application developers, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and professional growth. They will manage the full software development lifecycle for mobile applications, from planning and design through development, testing, release, and maintenance, collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA to define and refine requirements. The role involves overseeing and continuously improving release processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications, and championing Agile methodologies by facilitating Scrum ceremonies. Furthermore, the manager will identify and mitigate technical risks and issues, provide hands-on support in solving complex development challenges, drive adoption of modern mobile development tools, DevOps practices, and MAUI-specific performance optimizations, and monitor application performance, stability, and usability post-deployment.
