Intrigued about tackling complex challenges serving petabytes of data and billions of requests to millions of people

Responsibilities

Create new primitives to expand the product feature set of Vercel CDN
Optimize the Vercel CDN experience to improve reliability and lower latency
Analyze web latency to find sources of tail latency
Advance the developer experience for 15+ developers working primarily in Lua
Work on other examples of tasks such as:

https://vercel.com/blog/cdn-request-collapsing
Collaborate with other backend engineers and product team to identify problems and build solutions
Work with other teams to handle networking, TLS termination, routing, storage, and caching
Develop and run Vercel's built-in CDN
Troubleshoot and optimize the CDN for reliability and performance
