Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer working with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong command of JavaScript and familiarity with modern frameworks such as React and Hotwire Turbo
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
  • Experience deploying and maintaining production apps on Heroku or similar cloud platforms
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Comfort working across the full stack — from models and controllers to UI and performance optimization
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and Agile workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails, Hotwire Turbo, and JavaScript (including React where applicable)
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features across multiple projects
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using RSpec and follow Rails conventions
  • Manage database schema design, data migrations, and PostgreSQL query optimization
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on Heroku and related cloud infrastructure
  • Optimize performance and reliability across both frontend interactions and backend logic
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently
  • Contribute to team processes, documentation, and technical standards
