Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least one to two years of Software Engineering experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with basic containerization using Docker, PostgreSQL database management, and systems development concepts such as REST APIs, Authentication, and Event driven architectures is required. A willingness to learn and grow with the team, along with an understanding of basic containerization using Docker, PostgreSQL database management, and systems development concepts (i.e. REST APIs, Authentication, Event driven architectures.) is also necessary. U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will contribute to building and scaling the UI frontend and RESTful API backend as part of a distributed development team, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving code quality. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, write and maintain code within an agile development environment, and work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. They will also be responsible for understanding and applying DevSecOps tools and practices, and potentially previous experience working in national security.
