Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in web design, with a strong foundation in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, and a well-curated portfolio demonstrating their ability to create compelling digital experiences. They should also have demonstrable knowledge of user behavior, funnels, marketing channels, and mobile, along with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and other web design tools, and solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with responsive design and mobile-first principles.
The Site Designer will design and develop visually appealing, user-centric websites aligning with Vercel’s brand identity, optimize landing pages to drive engagement and conversions, create and maintain a comprehensive web style guide, collaborate with product designers, UX designers, and engineers to ensure cohesive user experiences, design web graphics, icons, and user interfaces, develop responsive designs, execute and iterate on designs based on feedback and analytics, stay up-to-date with web design trends, and manage web design projects from concept to completion.
