Requirements

  • 5+ years editing professionally, with a social-first mindset
  • Solid editing experience for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snap, YouTube; organic social & paid
  • Razor-sharp sense of storytelling and rhythm, with both visuals and audio
  • Fluency in Premiere Pro and After Effects (bonus: Resolve, motion, light VFX)
  • Team energy; collaborative, positive, great communication skills, and love sharing knowledge
  • English fluency (speaking, reading, writing); Arabic is a nice to have
  • Bonus: 2D/3D animation, directing, or filming skills
  • A hot showreel/portfolio (required)

Responsibilities

  • Edit and oversee high-impact video content for social and digital platforms (organic short form social, long form social & ads)
  • Shape stories with flow, rhythm, and instinct for attention-grabbing content
  • Apply wider post skills: color grading, audio fundamentals, motion graphics/VFX integration
  • Become expert in clients' brand guidelines (pace, style, color palettes) and platform specs (Meta, Snap, TT, X, YT)
  • Collaborate with creatives, strategists, and social teams; participate in ideation and conceptual phases with technical insights
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, audience behavior, and algorithm shifts; test and learn
  • Work efficiently in fast-paced environment: multitask, work independently, support team, adapt to shifting priorities, strong time management
  • Build smarter post workflows (naming conventions, automation, AI integration)
  • Lead by example: own output from rough cut to polish, set standards for craft and storytelling, share tools/techniques/insights
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and communicate at all levels
