The Senior Technical Consultant must be a functional and technical expert in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) products, specifically Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). Candidates should possess strong configuration skills aligned with ServiceNow best practices and experience in process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis. Experience leading customer design workshops and guiding customers in completing technical documentation, user stories, and testing strategies is essential. The role requires the ability to develop integration components, portal components, and customer-facing deliverables, while managing multiple complex projects and potentially overseeing partner resources.
The Senior Technical Consultant will serve as the technical expert on customer engagement teams, configuring ServiceNow ITAM products to meet customer needs and accelerate business outcomes. Responsibilities include supporting ITAM-specific process definition and improvement, advising customers on leveraging standard ServiceNow ITAM capabilities, and leading design workshops focused on the platform and ITAM solution technology. The consultant will guide customers through technical documentation, draft user stories with acceptance criteria, and develop integration and portal components. They will also lead technical aspects of project and solution delivery, ensure the quality of configured solutions, and provide training and mentoring to customer administrators.
