Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field, and a minimum of four years of experience in a tax-related role. Strong understanding of tax concepts, excellent Excel skills, and comfortability with large data sets are required, along with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Tax Accountant will manage the sales taxability of the company’s product offerings, ensuring appropriate charging and timely filings, build and manage the sales tax exemption process, liaise with external tax advisors and return filers, and assist in the ongoing automation and evaluation of systems, processes, and controls to enable company scalability. They will also collaborate with colleagues and consultants to proactively address changes across the business and develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
