Requirements

Candidates should possess 4+ years of experience shipping high-quality SaaS products and features, demonstrate a love for writing code and taking full ownership of a product or feature from concept to launch, be comfortable with an on-call rotation within the Engineering department, have experience with Ruby on Rails (or similar web application technologies), possess knowledge of software testing skills to ensure the highest quality products, and have experience with operating cloud-based relational databases (Postgres, etc.) at scale, including replication, monitoring, and optimization, as well as experience with AWS, Docker, or similar tech and experience in any field in security (preferred).

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will continuously ship quality product by writing well-organized, testable, and high-performing code, address system and software bugs, develop product enhancements, and launch new features, support products and applications operating in a 24x7 production environment, write clear and concise documentation and share knowledge internally and across teams, help identify technical risk and mitigation plans, collaborate with Product Management and Design teams, taking small to medium features from concept to shipping, and make architectural design decisions that improve scalability & performance, as well as write scalable applications that serves both internal and external users and high-volume background tasks.
