Requirements
- Expertise in Swift and/or Kotlin for mobile development
- Experience designing and building loosely coupled, scalable systems in a microservices architecture using industry best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, extendable, and testable code
- Proficiency in building, owning, and operating highly resilient systems and services
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and ability to share that knowledge
- Exceptional leadership qualities and versatility across full-stack development

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management across a large engineering community
- Define and design loosely coupled, scalable systems in a wider microservices architecture
- Stay up-to-date with, use, and spread knowledge of the latest technologies used by Checkout.com
- Write clean, maintainable, extendable, and testable code on Checkout.com’s most impactful systems
- Build, own, and operate systems to the highest levels of resilience and service
- Mentor junior team members and assist in their technical development
- Lead and drive specific projects critical to Checkout.com’s needs on the Emerging Products pillar
- Foster innovation and develop pioneering solutions that complement core enterprise offerings
- Explore new ideas and technologies to create products meeting evolving needs in the digital payments space
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions as part of leading project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
