Requirements

  • 5 years of software engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences or advanced degree with 2 years of experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex mobile applications in Flutter (iOS or Android)
  • Expert in one of the following languages: Dart, Java, Kotlin, C/C++, Objective-C, Swift
  • Deep understanding and experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
  • Self-motivated with great written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with System and software architects to interpret, analyze, and implement software requirements
  • Ability to coach others on software development and provide constructive feedback to improve others’ designs and implementation
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; can identify root cause of complex problems and provide solutions to such complex issues
  • Knowledge of Database operations on mobile devices
  • Knowledge of integrating with REST/SOAP based APIs
  • Develop in Android Studio or Xcode
  • Work in agile/scrum environment
  • Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of mobile application security (Certificate pinning, TLS, SSO, etc)
  • Experience coordinating with remote teams
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Experience creating and maintaining documentation for software systems

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and unit tests mobile apps, components, and tools independently without any guidance
  • Provide feedback to members of the requirements, development, and test team
  • Work closely with quality and systems teams to ensure the product works properly from end-to-end, both pre and post-release
  • Participate and contribute to product code and design reviews
