Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in object-oriented design and software development
- 4+ years of experience in building responsive, single page web applications using modern front-end JavaScript technologies like React, Angular, Vue, etc
- Thorough understanding of React, Node.JS and its core principles
- 4+ years of experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services
- Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain concepts clearly
- Passionate about front-end engineering with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Eye for design and user experience, focusing on customer experience
- Love for learning new technologies (e.g., Node.js, GraphQL, NextJS, Nx, build tools, shell scripts)
- Understanding of performance, A/B tests, web vitals, and front-end optimization
- Enjoy helping others, sharing knowledge, and contributing to teams/open-source
Responsibilities
- Build reusable React components with modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux, use React Query, and GraphQL
- Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPagetest, or custom tooling
- Refactor or improve existing code
- Work closely with product, design, and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences
- Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve code quality
- Demonstrate technical expertise in solving challenging programming and design problems
- Review code written by other team members or other teams
- Ship to hundreds of thousands of users every day with autonomy in code and feature ownership
- Help out with Node-based developer platform
- Share knowledge and learn either one-on-one or with lightning talks
- Work boldly with a sense of urgency; embrace mistakes, learn from them, and drive the team toward success
