- 6 to 9 years of total experience, of which 6+ years in Backend engineering platform development
- 5+ years of experience in Java technologies, Distributed systems, and large-scale application development and design
- Experience with a containerization technology and Microservices
- Well versed in CI/CD
- Proficiency in Java, Multithreading, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and developing robust, high-performance, and scalable applications
- Extremely strong technical background with hands-on capability and ability to mentor top individual technical talent
Responsibilities
- Design & develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology
- Code, unit test, and build high-performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart-International customers in supply chain management & Customer experience
- Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in E-commerce platforms
- Provide technical direction, architecture leadership, and expertise to the team
- Participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing requirements; translating them into technical solutions; designing robust and scalable architectures; writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues; collaborating with cross-functional teams; troubleshooting issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent defects; ensuring on-time delivery
