Requirements

  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals
  • Solid experience in C++, including tool development, refactoring or migrating legacy codebases
  • Proficiency in Python, including tool development, automation frameworks, or test scripting
  • Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and scaling engineering or testing tools
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies and integrate new solutions into existing embedded systems
  • 5+ years of experience in automated testing, test framework development, or tooling for embedded engineering teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • English proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, refactor an existing based C++ tool used in production for testing automotive embedded devices
  • Implement new tools based on internal requirements
  • Design, implement, and maintain the internal Python automation framework and tools used by automation engineers and system testers
  • Develop automated test scripts from requirements or manual test procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing needs and deliver scalable, adaptable tooling solutions
  • Support and configure HIL/SIL environments for infotainment and embedded systems testing
