Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on mobile applications using either React Native directly or Expo, along with proven experience in releasing stable mobile applications and an awareness of the differences between mobile and web shipping. They should also demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and cross-functional teams to achieve company goals, and experience with mobile UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, mobile-specific security considerations, or working directly with native platform APIs & IDEs.
As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will collaborate with the Technical Lead and other team members to plan and architect mobile app projects, contributing to design discussions and decisions, implement and deliver high-quality mobile app features and enhancements using Expo, React Native, Typescript, and React, contribute to the technical health of the mobile application by adhering to engineering best practices and participating in code reviews, stay up-to-date with the latest mobile app development trends and technologies, incorporating them into the project when appropriate, and assist in mentoring and guiding other developers from other pods making mobile contributions, fostering a culture of growth and high psychological safety within the team.
