Requirements

  • Strong expertise with radar systems, emphasizing radar frontend and backend, phased array radar systems, digital signal processing, and radar algorithms
  • 10+ years of experience with radars, including operation, testing, and analyzing radar data
  • Use of MATLAB for developing radar waveforms and analyzing data collected by radar systems
  • Ability to program algorithms in C++, MATLAB, or equivalent
  • Ability to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, customers; perform detailed analyses of radar systems and components; and prepare written and oral presentations
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Radar Systems Engineering or related field
  • Willingness to travel, work in a team of highly skilled engineers on complex projects, and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Contribute technical expertise within a focused team that designs, integrates, and tests radar systems operating from HF to 200+ GHz
  • Work closely with scientists and engineers to develop specifications and architectures for radar systems from frontend components (starting with the aperture) to backend components (including ADC, DSP, and processing flow)
  • Solve customer problems
