Candidates should have at least 4 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 1 year working with EVM-related protocols such as dApps, Rollups, or Solvers. A deep knowledge of programming languages like Go or Rust is essential, along with experience in building Ethereum dApps using Solidity or Yul. Familiarity with developing and deploying distributed systems, as well as a strong ability to write fast, optimized, and clean code is required. Candidates should also possess skills in solving complex design, latency, or performance issues in high-throughput production environments and be confident in performance optimization and identifying scalability concerns.

You will develop improvements to rollup stacks like OP, zksync, and Arbitrum Orbit, ensuring higher throughput and reliability. Additionally, you will create systems for zero-downtime network upgrades of high TPS chains and write efficient and secure EVM smart contracts in Solidity. You will drive the technical direction, establish roadmaps, and collaborate with internal and external partners to contribute to Caldera's success.
Customizable blockchain rollups for developers
Caldera.xyz creates customizable blockchain rollups that improve the performance and scalability of existing blockchains like Ethereum and Polygon. These rollups allow developers and organizations to deploy applications with high transaction throughput and low fees, while offering features like paying for transaction fees in native tokens or eliminating them altogether. The platform is user-friendly and EVM compatible, making it accessible to a wide range of clients without requiring extensive technical knowledge. Caldera's goal is to optimize blockchain operations for its clients and establish itself as a key player in the blockchain infrastructure market.
