Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for Home and Public software in collaboration with the broader Software Product Management team
  • Own and drive backend logic for charging and energy management, app updates, and platform enhancements
  • Define and prioritize product features, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the agile development backlog
  • Champion customer needs through direct feedback and insights, ensuring the roadmap aligns with user expectations
  • Collaborate with IT and PMO teams on sprint planning, demos, and program syncs
  • Deliver clear, concise updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Develop strategies to increase user engagement and adoption
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, recommending improvements based on performance
  • Research new ideas to support EV adoption and enhance GM Energy’s software offerings
  • Partner with QA and IT teams to ensure robust testing, training, and production readiness
  • Follow GM’s software development standards across design, testing, deployment, and change management
  • Support cross-functional GM Energy initiatives as needed
  • Foster a culture of excellence through proactive collaboration and cross-functional engagement
  • Use data and customer insights to guide planning, launches, and iterations
  • Build strong, empathetic relationships across teams to ensure smooth program execution
  • Set bold goals, track performance, and implement countermeasures when needed
  • Communicate effectively with leadership through compelling storytelling and pre-reads
  • Celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and continuously improve
