Requirements

  • A BSc/MSc/PhD degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, data science, computer science, statistics, electrical engineering, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering or a related STEM field
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Expert in Python programming for full data science lifecycle (ETL, data exploration, cleaning/pre-processing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring). Tech stack: SQL, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, Pytorch, Transformers
  • Experience with LLMs: prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning
  • Highly analytical, problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of machine learning methods to solve healthcare-related problems using cloud-based technologies
  • Transform innovative AI prototypes into production-ready solutions through rigorous engineering practices
  • Work cross functionally with engineers to integrate AI/ML features into our applications
  • Work alongside science and product to identify and solve high-value machine learning use-cases
  • Maintain and monitor existing AI/ML functionality
  • Research topics in machine learning and AI to stay up-to-date on emerging trends in the field
  • Lead and contribute to all parts of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, documentation, testing, and operations
