System Administrator

ClearEdge is seeking a seasoned System Administrator to join our dynamic team and support critical systems by managing and maintaining Linux-based environments in both physical and virtual infrastructures. You'll help ensure the security and reliability of the systems by addressing IAVA findings, deploying automation with Ansible, and supporting VMware environments. ClearEdge empowers its customers in government and industry with innovative, data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Experience: 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• Linux Experience: At least 3 years of Linux system administration experience
• Server Experience: Experience with physical and virtual servers
• Ansible Experience: Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
• VMware Experience: Experience building and maintaining VMware environments

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Linux systems for performance and security
• Research and apply solutions to close IAVA findings
• Use Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Support and troubleshoot VMware environments
• Collaborate with team members to maintain critical systems

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• AWS Experience: Experience with AWS
• Scripting Skills: Scripting skills in Python or Perl
• Docker Experience: Docker experience
