Requirements

6+ years of experience writing TypeScript and Golang in production
Working experience in building Electron applications
Working experience in an agile, distributed team environment
Strong experience with relational databases and SQL
Strong experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Strong experience writing beautiful and tested code
Extremely comfortable with Git and GitHub workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop new features and tools for Insomnia (a powerful open-source API client)
Build and use APIs to power innovative features into Insomnia
Build out Golang APIs that power Insomnia’s cloud features
Write automated tests to ensure the behavior of code and avoid regressions
Work as an integral part of a small, geographically distributed agile software development team to build features end-to-end
Serve as the primary point of contact for backend system changes
Oversee system deployments in GCP
Perform any additional tasks required by the manager
