In partnership with Wilcore Technologies through our joint venture, Oddball believes we can make significant changes and improve the daily lives of millions by bringing quality software to the federal space.

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to a pivotal Federal program that positively impacts millions of Americans' daily lives.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end testing solutions and API endpoints and services.
• Write code, develop tests, and debug applications.
• Develop full-stack applications supporting tool integration, dashboards, workflows, and automation for the MTS platform.
• Build APIs and services that connect VA systems with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprints and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, including data scientists, UX designers, product managers, and software engineers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with a Rails backend.
• 3+ years of experience with a front-end JavaScript framework (React preferred).
• Strong experience with Python.
• Experience with Azure hosted services, including Azure Bot Service and Azure Web Apps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, AWS Parameter Store, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Enjoy constantly learning and adapting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Natural Languages, Dataverse, and Databricks are preferred.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to work domestically.
• Must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
