A minimum of 3 years of experience with React, Typescript, and GraphQL is required, along with 3 years of experience in Python or a similar programming language. Candidates must also be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's coordination hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm Pacific Time. A passion for learning and self-improvement is essential.
The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, data science, QA, and engineering, to advise on the product roadmap and create innovative features and user experiences for bot creators. They will rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production, utilizing modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability. Additionally, they will champion both user experience and sustainable, scalable code practices, and work closely with LLM providers to facilitate the integration of new LLMs on Poe.
