Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on firmware in C/C++ and client or test tooling in Python or NodeJS
Proficiency in developing for compute-constrained and low-memory environments
Skilled in creating peripheral drivers and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, USB), and knowledgeable in DMA
Experience launching and maintaining large fleets of devices, with monitoring telemetry and OTA firmware updates
Ability to read and interpret data sheets and schematics for hardware bring-up and debugging
Familiarity with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
Fast-paced and iterative approach to tackling complex problems
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to China for team support and collaboration

Proficient with bare metal systems, low level task management, and environments without traditional RTOS
Expertise in wireless communication standards (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)

Responsibilities

Bring-up and implement cutting-edge sensor technologies, integrating them into products to enable future health monitoring
Collaborate with hardware teams to guide prototyping, drive efficient designs, and implement on production hardware
Lead the transformation of firmware development processes, pioneering advanced standards and state-of-the-art tooling for testing and deployment
Work closely with manufacturing team in China to develop tests and deliver high-quality products on time
Thrive in in-person and remote work environments, ensuring clear and impactful communication
