  • Experience leading a scrum team (10-15 engineers) utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering software in Embedded C (50% capacity)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as servant leader, lean-agile leader, and coach for a Scrum Team on the ART
  • Develop and deliver software in Embedded C (50% capacity)
  • Plan and manage the team’s workload and capacity, including developers (SWE, CDE, SSLEs, SQA Engineers)
  • Facilitate Scrum team meetings (daily stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, Peer/Code Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Facilitate Scrum team activities and present to the ART during ceremonies (Inspect and Adapt, System Demos, PI Planning)
  • Escalate problems to the right people after internal team attempts
  • Collaborate with ART RTE, SPC, other Scrum Leads on SAFe/VMEC processes, metrics, and meetings (Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, Scrum CoP)
  • Encourage team improvement through education, innovation, and manage innovation activities during I&P sprints
  • Collaborate with ART PMT members (TA, SWSA, SDSA, TS, FSA) on workload management and capacity
  • Support estimating Story Points and coach on workload/capacity estimation for predictability
  • Support balancing Enabler, Technical Debt, and Business Value features/stories
  • Support completing PI Objectives
  • Promote team cooperation and inclusion for shared ownership of deliverables (production SW, test results)
  • Work day-to-day with team and individuals to complete high-quality deliverables on predictable timing
  • Challenge and improve development practices for quality, predictability, flow, velocity, and automation
