Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a focus on Embedded Software Engineering, or Master's in Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in developing real-time embedded systems
  • Knowledge of programming in C and C++
  • Proficiency in programming 32-bit microcontrollers (preferably ARM) and developing low-level device drivers
  • Solid knowledge in RTOS and experience developing embedded applications using RTOS
  • Experience in Communication Protocols like TCP/IP, CIP
  • Familiarity with unit testing methodologies
  • Experience using various hardware-assisted debugging tools
  • Familiarity with Agile processes, static analysis tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience in industrial control systems (advantageous)
  • Knowledge in Secure Coding CERT C/C++ Standard (advantageous)
  • Experience in Security Development processes (advantageous)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop firmware and embedded software for cutting-edge Adapters and IOs
  • Participate in technical reviews to identify issues early and propose solutions
  • Deliver project outcomes promptly (meet project milestones and deadlines)
  • Contribute to a positive, innovative, and inclusive team culture
  • Actively participate in or lead technical reviews with peers to resolve problems early
  • Adhere to engineering best practices and processes while collaborating with a global team
  • Create system documentation and demonstrate reliability
