Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, with a CPA designation being preferred. A minimum of 15 years of public company accounting experience is required, and experience in public accounting is considered a plus. A thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC Reporting requirements is essential, along with proven experience in developing and leading high-performing accounting teams. Proficiency in Google Suite and knowledge of NetSuite are necessary. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, organized, and possesses exceptional problem-solving, analytical, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential information and foster inter-departmental cooperation.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director will lead the Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Revenue, and Accounts Receivable teams, providing technical accounting guidance on all accounting issues and maintaining accounting policies. Responsibilities include overseeing quarterly external financial reporting, preparing technical accounting memos for SOX compliance (ASC 450, ASC 606, ASC 842), and guiding Revenue recognition under ASC 606. The role also involves supporting Revenue and Accounts Receivable operations, partnering with product and technology teams, training and mentoring accounting staff, championing best practices, and supporting internal and external audits by engaging with auditors and providing requested information.
