Requirements

Candidates should possess experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails, a strong understanding of design patterns and clean code, and a desire to learn and be open to feedback. Experience scaling or working on high-scale web applications, as well as experience in e-commerce or health-tech sectors, is beneficial. Familiarity with Payment and Tax Providers, Inventory management and Fulfilment is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Ruby Engineer will plan out solution design, implement business logic for the core part of the e-commerce platform, build and maintain integrations with external services such as Stripe and Avatax, and build an internal API for other teams within Fullscript. They will also solve performance issues, contribute to technical improvements, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
