Requirements

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, experience working in a remote environment, and more than five years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer. Expertise in Python or Java is required, along with practical experience with Apache Spark and familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for improving Veeva Link’s Data Platform through feature development, refactoring, and innovation, working on next-generation data pipelines using Python and Spark. You will collaborate with other internal teams and product teams, designing and implementing the architecture of Veeva’s AWS subscription while monitoring metrics and ensuring observability, and contributing to the enhancement of system design principles and overall quality of the outcome.
