Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with Bill of Materials and inventory reconciliations
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Proficient in PC applications, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with IQMS is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) in IQMS to ensure accurate inventory costing at SEC plants
- Implement the annual cost roll and quarterly commercial costing updates
- Prepare daily production reports for management and handle ad hoc analysis as needed
- Accurately prepare journal entries for the month-end close process
- Reconcile SEC General Ledger inventory accounts with the perpetual inventory records and other supporting documents monthly; investigate and explain variances
- Monitor key General Ledger accounts daily for potential issues related to production, receiving, and shipping, and conduct monthly account analysis
- Analyze and adjust the obsolescence reserve on a monthly basis
- Manage accounting for customer toll accounts
- Assist with the annual Physical Inventory as required
