Requirements

  • BS/MS or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 8+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering
  • Proficient with scripting languages (Bash, Python) and macOS management tools (Fleet, MDM, JAMF, or similar)
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code or GitOps methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of macOS internals, endpoint automation, and enterprise support
  • Sincere dedication to the end-user experience

Responsibilities

  • Automate and manage macOS device configuration and software deployment using Configuration as Code best practices
  • Implement, test, and maintain GitOps workflows to ensure repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled changes across the client platform
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot, document, and improve platform reliability and user experience for macOS endpoints
  • Use good software engineering practices that translate to measuring developer productivity
  • Support advanced issues on tickets that arise in your field
  • Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect immediate organization
