Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Highly skilled in modern C++, especially building fast, reliable systems
Keen interest in systems design with solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimisation
Comfortable working with data and metrics to identify issues, make decisions, and improve codebase
Problem-solver able to handle complex technical challenges and day-to-day tasks
Collaborative person and strong communicator, able to work with product, data science, and engineering teams
Experience with audio or video files (big plus)
Familiarity with Java backend development or mobile platforms (Android/iOS) (bonus)

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain C++ client core modules and logic for audio and video streaming, caching, pre-fetching, and downloading
Scale audio and video playback with top performance and robust scalable architecture
Develop next generation of offline features to make more content available anytime, anywhere
Leverage AI and automation tools to reduce maintenance and unlock new features
Collaborate with product, data science, and neighboring teams to build metrics-driven, resilient, scalable, and evolving systems
