Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Processor with a specialization in AU loan processing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree

• Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in the mortgage industry specializing in AU loan processing.
  • Experience using CRM software such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex, Salestrekker, or similar in the mortgage broking industry.
  • Experience with Project Management Tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Asana, Clickup, Notion).

• Skills:

  • Good understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Well-organized and capable of managing and resolving conflicting priorities and schedules.
  • Responsible and proactive in taking necessary actions and decisions to meet objectives.
  • Logical, systematic, and sequential problem-solving approach.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience in reviewing complex information, identifying errors, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high accuracy through meticulous validation.

• Nice to Have:

  • Certificate IV in Financing & Mortgage Brokering

Responsibilities

• Data entry into MyCRM and Apply Online (AOL).
• Generation of application paperwork, including for the First Home Buyer scheme, grant applications, and discharge forms.
• Document management (collecting, renaming, organizing, following up).
• Document compliance checks to ensure NCCP requirements are met.
• Processing valuations, pricing requests, and credit checks.
• Conducting living expense analysis.
• Calculating basic and complex income for PAYG applicants.
• Completing basic servicing calculators and assisting with complex servicing.
• Understanding self-employed financials.
• Transcribing compliance notes from dot points to paragraph form.
• Working on complex loan structures and loan types (e.g., multiple applicants, SMSF, trust lending).
• Assisting in mitigating MIRs and Conditional Approvals.
• Assisting in researching lenders with specific policies to accommodate deals.
