Candidates should possess professional experience working in Ruby on Rails, strong backend development skills with experience building reporting and monitoring tools, and a solid understanding of financial compliance requirements, including SOX experience. Experience with data integrity and governance concepts is also required, along with a curiosity to understand how systems work holistically and their impact on compliance.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will maintain and enhance SOX compliance reporting tools, lead the development of automated tools to track and document changes between GitLab releases, implement statistical analysis of code changes, create parsers for dependency formats, develop Git analytics engines, build systems to infer merge requests, collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance, and review merge requests from other developers.
