Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent; they must have at least 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation; a minimum of 5 years of experience with Java open source frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot, and Mybatis, and microservices is needed; 5 years of experience with Java Servlets, REST and SOAP are also required; 5 years of experience in Java Multithreading, including concurrent data structures, parallel algorithms, and thread management is necessary; 5 years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, DynamoDB, Hbase, Redis, and/or others is required; 5 years of experience in building application platform solutions integrating with third-party applications and services is needed; 5 years of experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams is also necessary; and 5 years of experience in design and coding, object-oriented design, object-oriented design principles, master design patterns, and application scenarios is required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Engineer will participate in the research, design, and development of new access payment methods; they will develop and maintain IAP (in-app purchase) systems; they will refactor unreasonable code logic within the APM (alternative payment method) project to reduce duplicate payment issues in the production environment; they will monitor and fix daily production environment errors of the APM (alternative payment method) project; and they will assist the China billing QA team and the US billing engineer team in implementing effective communication and completing project knowledge transfer.
