Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, and have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar analytical role. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing technologies, particularly AWS Redshift, are essential, along with familiarity with data modeling techniques and data quality principles. Experience with DBT and Python is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analytics Engineer will collaborate with business stakeholders to define key metrics and create data sources and dashboards to support data-informed decision-making. They will establish standards for reporting in Tableau, develop and optimize data models using dbt, and serve as a resource for data discovery and self-service analytics. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Data Engineering team with data pipeline troubleshooting using Python and documenting data processes and standards.
