Requirements

Candidates should possess a BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related major, with a CPA or MBA being preferred. A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in Investment Accounting, including reconciliation and general ledger processes or investment operations, is required. A strong understanding of investment accounting principles under US GAAP and STAT is essential, along with excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Excel. Experience with Hyperion query tools, Peoplesoft platforms, data analysis tools, and Clearwater Analytics or similar investment accounting platforms is a plus. The role demands a strong focus on process improvement, automation, analytical skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst, Investment Accounting will support the review of reconciliations between Clearwater and the General Ledger to ensure accuracy and integrity of investment balances for GAAP and STAT reporting. This role involves bridging operations and accounting for investment activity, supporting cross-functional initiatives for process enhancements, and assisting with the preparation of investment-related reconciliations. Responsibilities include clearing and reconciling investment transactions, collaborating with third-party service providers and finance stakeholders, monitoring and substantiating investment-related suspense accounts, providing support for audit requests, and assisting with ad-hoc projects.
