Requirements

Candidates should possess a BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related major, with a CPA or MBA preferred. A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in Investment Accounting, including reconciliation and general ledger processes or investment operations, is required. A strong understanding of US GAAP and STAT investment accounting principles, excellent computer skills including MS Excel, and familiarity with Hyperion query tools, Peoplesoft platforms, and data analysis tools are necessary. Experience with Clearwater Analytics or similar platforms is preferred, along with strong analytical skills, a focus on process improvement and automation, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will assist in preparing investment-related reconciliations for US GAAP and statutory reporting, and support the Investment Accounting team in clearing and reconciling investment-related transactions from various financial subledgers. They will collaborate with third-party service providers and finance stakeholders to ensure timely clearing and proper recognition of investment transactions in the general ledger, and support the monthly monitoring and substantiation of investment-related suspense accounts. Additionally, the role involves providing support for audit requests and assisting with ad-hoc projects.
