Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in Sage 300 (Timberline)
- Strong understanding of construction job costing and project accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related accounting software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and financial statements
- Manage construction draws and oversee job cost allocations using Sage 300
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Work closely with project managers to ensure budget accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
