Requirements

  • Must have 3 months of working history with one employer listed on the application
  • Prefer 3 months of operator experience
  • Legible handwriting
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Willing to work on feet for up to 12 hours
  • Willing to complete all required training
  • Able to read invoices, packing slips, records of materials, etc
  • Possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
  • Able to perform physical requirements: walking, bending, standing, lifting up to 70 pounds frequently
  • Able to work in warm/cold temperatures, wet, humid, dusty conditions; exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, outside weather, electrical shock risk, vibration, toxic chemicals, extreme heat, loud noise (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
  • Receive training as required
  • Perform various positions as required/assigned
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Monitor product throughout the processing phase
  • Maintain communication with receiving/preparation, floor operators, grinding room, and loadout to coordinate equipment adjustments as needed
