Candidates must hold a graduate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program, possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance, and be registered or certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) with an RCP license.
The Respiratory Therapist-Telehealth will provide instruction to patients and caregivers on respiratory care procedures and equipment use, perform clinical assessments including pulse oximetry and spirometry, ensure patients can effectively operate equipment, conduct routine patient follow-up contacts, inspect and test equipment, prepare patient records, consult with physicians regarding patient care, participate in ongoing education, and potentially perform on-call duties and assist with patient scheduling.
